Risk it all

You feel the boss is almost dead, your party is near death but running low on healing/mp for spells, do you still try to recover your health or go all out to kill the boss before it kills you?

I usually like to play it safe most of the time, I learned the hard way once while playing Legend of Legaia. I was pretty close to beating one of the bosses, but I was also low on health. So instead of healing and using spirit to raise everyone's defense, I went ahead and attacked only to be defeated the next round since he used his strongest attack.

Depends on how the boss looks, I had to risk it the other day in my game and won but if I tried to heal I think the boss would have over taken and killed my party.

I’ve had moments like that too. You think you’re about to win, then boom, game over. It's happened to many of us multiple times.

Nothing worse than believing you have the boss beat and suddenly it pulls a dirty kill all attack.

Yep lol, that's what happened to me in Legend of Legaia, I had a feeling one of the bosses was close to being defeated but nope next turn he knocked everyone out with his strongest attack.

That sucks and then having a fleeting moment that is a scripted end but isn't.
