Get the guide books?

Back when guide books were a thing, did you always get one for RPGs?

I own the ones for Star Ocean 1 and 2 because they were $5

I usually picked it up for an RPG game, I never wanted to miss things and have a nice picture book.

I have a Yellow version strategy guide and a Genji: Dawn of the Samurai strategy guide too. (My wife used to work at Walgreens and one of her managers gave her a copy of the game along with the strategy guide.) I still need to play Genji someday. I have strategy guides for non RPGs too.

I have a ton of guidebooks, I keep moving them with me to new homes but not sure what I will ever end up doing with them.

You could always sell them if they take up too much space. Unless you still want to keep them lol, I use my Turok 2 Strategy guide from time to time since I sometimes get lost in that game. You could also use them to play your favorite games in the ways that the author of the book did, they could play the game differently than you do.

They all seen their use, so not sure how much money I would get them. Kind of hoping the longer I hold onto them, even their used states would increase in price.
