Golden Sun

Now this is a series I've been wanting to play since I was a teenager. I remember seeing the first Golden Sun game being advertised in an issue of Nintendo Power magazine I had back in the day and it always intrigued me. I even asked to get it for Christmas in 2004 or 2005 but never got it sadly. It's on my list of RPGs I want to play someday on livestream. Have you ever played this game before?

I never played it till I got the game for the DS? But the game had horrible horrible back tracking to it and I gave up on it.
