Dungeon Master

So this game was released on a few different platforms, it was originally released on the Atari ST in 1987 but also ported to the Amiga, DOS, and SNES just to name a few more platforms. I can definitely tell this game was made with a mouse in mind, just look at the gameplay footage from the SNES version lol. It definitely looks like it was ahead of it's time though. I don't think I'd want to play the SNES version since the controls are probably annoying.

Another interesting one, were they all DnD inspired?

I think a good number of earlier RPGs were definitely inspired by DnD. There's lots of "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" video games that were released back in the 80's and 90's. I know there's still games based around DnD that come out.
