Alcazar: The Forgotten Fortress

Post by Ravenfreak »

This is technically an action adventure game, similar to The Legend of Zelda but since we have topics about The Legend of Zelda this should fit here as well! This game even pre dates TLoZ too! For a Colecovision game the graphics look fantastic!

So it came out before Zelda? Huh, I wonder if it inspired them at all?

Perhaps but the ColecoVision didn't come out in Japan. Still someone from Nintendo could have seen gameplay of it! Fun fact about the ColecoVision, it uses the same processor as the Master System and has the same sound chip in it too.

Very nice, like it when stuff uses the same sound chip, makes it sound all similar.
