Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Treasure of Tarmin

Post by Ravenfreak »

This is the sequel to AD&D Cloudy Mountain on the Intellivision. This one looks much better than the other one, and was ahead of it's time! It's a dungeon crawler with turn based elements. Honestly if I had to pick one of these games to play, I'd rather play this one over the other lol.

Still amazes me they were able to make such decent looking games back in the day.

I know right? It's amazing to see the hard work put into games like this! That's why I also prefer rom hacks to fan games, it's cool to see what people are capable of pulling off on weaker hardware.

Kind of a shame we don't have more restricting hardware so they make better and unique games.

True, indie game makers keep the old school gaming spirit alive.

Treasure of Tarmin was a serious magic for its time. I still wonder how those developers pulled that off. Those graphics might look funny now, but back then, it was on fire. 😂 I remembered when I first saw the gameplay. That game has depth.
