Man, this game was a deep hidden gem. It was so great, fun and had awesome ost. Plus I like how everything turned upside down FF 6 style.

The concept behind Digimon World 3 sounds very cool. It's definitely going to be engaging, especially the game-within-a-game concept. It's a feature to watch out for.

Digimon world 3 was such a hidden gem and glad I was able to pick it up (with guide book!) and it was a great play. I know I played it a few times.

That's really cool that you had a guide book for the game! I don't think I ever got lost in the game because my best friends and I were all playing it around the same time so if we ever got stuck, one of us would help the other two. Plus I think I looked up a walkthrough once on my best friend's computer.

What catches my attention in the game in Digimon World 3 is the game within a game concept and the different starter packs. The twist is also very interesting, good enough to draw you in.

My friend's favorite pack was the maniac pack. Using that pack is playing the game on hard mode IMO lol.

I've played a little bit of the first Digimon World game as well as Digimon World 2 a bit. But IMO DW3 beats both of them! It's a turn based RPG so it's no wonder why I love this game so much! You get to play as a character named Junior who enjoys playing Digimon Online, which is a game within the game. (Very meta I know lol) Basically your job is to stop this terrorist group from taking over the game to take over the world. You get to pick from three different starter packs, one is the powerful pack, one is the balanced pack and the last one is the maniac pack. The Powerful pack consists of Monmon, Agumon, and Renamon. The balanced pack consists of Kotemon, Patamon, and Renamon. Finally the Maniac pack consists of Kumamon (aka Bearmon in Japan), Patamon, and Guilmon. I started with the Balanced pack in my first playthrough. Anyways do you enjoy this game?

Well, I have not heard of Digimon World game let alone playing it. Since you talk about Digimon Online as a game within a game, I am very much fascinated to try this out. Based on what I read here, I am sure I will enjoy it.

Definitely enjoyable game. It has fresh concepts of training your squad through classical grinding or in the gym by playing mini-games. I think this overlooked title might surprise you.

Pretty sure now that I think about it I still have the guide book for this game somewhere, I should pull out the ROM and play it.

This thread is really making me want to play it again. I know I was in the middle of a rookie only challenge last year but I stopped working on it lol. I was using the maniac pack too which made it pretty challenging.
