Ravenfreak wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 10:50 pm It definitely reminds me of Pokemon, probably because it's turn based. I liked Stadium but if it was more like DMW3 I would have loved it more.
Yeah, also training your monsters is the same plot, but anyway, stadium was more like "buy my portable games so you can beat it!"

Re: Earthbound

It's all good, it's actually kind of rare to see someone not really enjoying this title since many people think it's the best on the Super Nintendo. (I think Final Fantasy V and VI are better though.) The marketing for the game was poor in the United States at least, it's a very expensive game now ...

Re: Final Fantasy VIII

This is another Final Fantasy game that I've started but never finished! I think I stopped playing right when I needed to rescue Renoa, not really sure why I've stopped playing though. I caught onto the card game pretty fast, many people don't like this one because of the card game mechanics. My ...

Final Fantasy V

This game was my favorite RPG for a very long time. I first played it on SNES, then on GBA and the best version on PS Vita (as far as i know!).

A very deep adventure that you need to analyze jobs, explore MANY dungeons. I think it was the first game that NPCs together have stories linked ...

Re: Pokemon Gen 3

I don't like gen 3 as much as gen 2... but it was the first gen that i've "studied" the game to form a nice team to battle my friends at school. I still have the cartridge of my ruby version. Playing with the wi-fi adapter for the Game boy advance SP was a blast back then..

Re: Digimon World 3

The OST in this game is so good.

This game is what you might expect from a pokemon game in n64. I wish pokemon stadium was like this!

Re: Earthbound

Back in the days, i had the japanese version and can't remember very well the point that i quitted the game, battles were so random that i always would talk about it at school (nobody had this game in my class!) and would tell me that i was lying lol.

As long as i like fresh games other than epic ...

Re: Pokemon Gens 1 and 2

Pokemon Silver was my first owned game for my game boy color. I remember having to go through hell to get it (my mother wouldn't buy me a copy!) and had to escape from my english class to get it!

I don't know, but back then levelling up was so much fun, but i'd never play that game again in ...
