Pokemon Gen 3

Post by Ravenfreak »

Technically the GBA is a 32 bit device so this belongs here! Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald are the main games in generation 3 but we also got our first remakes too FireRed and LeafGreen! This is still my favorite generation of Pokemon. Natures were introduced in this generation, and my favorite feature was the secret base feature. I grew up with Ruby so it's my favorite from this generation. I loved mixing records with my cousin and friends, and I had about 5 secret bases in my copy of Ruby. Sadly my copy needs to be fixed... I think soda spilled on it...

Generation 3 is a great generation of Pokemon for sure! Torchic is my favorite starter in Gen 3 so I always choose that fire chicken every time I replay Ruby. Back in the day I had a action replay and I would get bad eggs and try to catch other glitches, that was fun.

I don't like gen 3 as much as gen 2... but it was the first gen that i've "studied" the game to form a nice team to battle my friends at school. I still have the cartridge of my ruby version. Playing with the wi-fi adapter for the Game boy advance SP was a blast back then..

The 3rd gen of Pokemon is the last gen where I followed Pokemon. I got back into Pokemon after Pokemon Go, and I started playing old games again.
