Kai Magazine Software has released a brand new Sega Genesis/Mega Drive action RPG titled Secret of the Four Winds. It's inspired by games such as Shadowrun, and Snatcher. People also like to compare it to Parasite Eve, a horror RPG for the PS1. John Hancock on Youtube got the collector's edition sent to him for review and I think it looks interesting. You can't play it on an emulator or on certain clone consoles though, since it's got a special chip that enhances the soundtrack and it's only compatible with real hardware and some clone consoles. Here's some gameplay footage uploaded by the developers.

I do like how these classics come out as indie titles, keeps the original RPG love alive. Game looks good, might give it a try one day.

Me too, I love homebrew games on older consoles! It's cool to see what types of games people can make these days. I'd like to get a copy, it's quite expensive though. Last I checked it was about 69 euros which would be about $80 USD.

I think thats what the game would have cost back in the day funny enough.
