Nintendo announced that an enhanced version of Pokemon Legends: Z-A would be released on the Switch 2 along with the Switch 1's release. Will you be getting the Switch 2 version or the original Switch version? I plan on trying to get a Switch 2 this year so I'm probably going to get the Switch 2 version. My wife will be keeping her Switch Lite so she'll have the original Switch version. Here's the trailer for the Switch 2 version of the game.

Yes, that's quite good. I’m also waiting for the release. I heard that it's likely coming out between April and July of 2025.

Not sure if I will pick this up, looks fun but Pokemon games of late have been kind of a miss and not so fun.

Legends Arceus was a lot of fun! I loved it much better than Sword/Shield as well as Scarlet/Violet! I think this one will be good too.

Someone I know is planning to get it, so I'll play it a bit with them and see if this stacks up to others.

That's a good idea! I know you mentioned you stopped playing the main games after Gen 4, so I don't blame you for wanting to try it via playing a friend's copy of the game. It's also coming to the original Switch as well.

Love my Switch, but doesn't play games as well as it used to, so time for Switch 2.
