Anyone tried King of Avalon? It's one of my favorite builder/strategy games on mobile.

I haven’t played King of Avalon but I know the game. It is a medieval strategy game with alliances and kingdom building. I would like to know is it pay-to-win, or can free players compete? What’s the best way to grow quickly?

I've watched gameplay, I wanted to get it at one point, but don't have the time these days.
