What number of party members do you enjoy best for an RPG. 2? 4? more than that?

I think the sweet spot is 4, anymore and it can get a bit overwhelming for me to keep track of everyone. Though it is fun to play challenges and only use one party member if you're easily able to.

I also agree that four is pretty sweet, 3 makings it a challenge but when you had so many people, you need at least four.
