Which do you tend to enjoy playing your RPGs on? Console/PC or on handhelds?

These days I prefer to play console RPGs, and even if I do play handheld RPGs I like to emulate them or find ways to play them on a tv. I still have a few handhelds that I bring along with me whenever I go on trips but when I'm at home I prefer to play on bigger screens.

I will always love console gaming RPGs, but I feel like handheld RPGs tend to have been a lot better during the PSP/3DS era.

Yeah I definitely agree with that. I loved Pokemon on the Gameboy, but I think the Generation 7/8 handhelds did have the better RPGs. The GBA had some good RPGs too like Golden Sun. I wish we could get more Golden Sun games, or a collection at least.

I didn't care for the last golden sun game, waaaaay too much backtracking.

True, 3D on handheld looked like junk.

It was more the controls or the comfort of using a full controller. A lot of them were ports from older consoles that didn’t look that different in handheld.
