If an RPG allows you to name your characters, what did you name them?

I always named the main protagonist after myself lol, then I would name other characters after my friends. I would do the same thing with Pokemon, though I would also name them after my favorite fictional characters that weren't part of the Pokemon universe.

I named RPG characters after me or family members, but I do love online videos where people come up with wild names to make it funny.

I find that amusing as well. xD Scott's Thoughts on Youtube would always name his rival Butt when playing Pokemon, so someone made a ROM hack of the game and sent it to him so that one of the options to name your rival is Butt.

lol, that is awesome.

I also would name characters that I thought were cute after my childhood crush lol. I even named Noa after her in Legend of Legaia since I shipped Noa and Vahn together and I would name Vahn after myself. :V

You should definitely name a character after your wife, she'd probably like that!

I will have to do that lol, not sure who though. Wish modern RPGs allowed for more name changes.

Me too, it makes RPGs more immersive when you're able to rename your characters. I think more indie titles these days keep that alive but triple A RPGs don't.
