Do you tend to enjoy the mini games in a RPG game?

I usually ignore mini games unless they give you good items or if I'm trying to get achievements/trophies and I need to play the mini games.

Depends on the mini games, but I usually enjoy card games and most of the mini games in FF 7 were pretty fun.

Though I did like the fishing mini game in Legend of Legaia. I forgot about it until now. xD If you got enough points you could unlock a hidden Ra-Seru, of course it's the water one.

Sadly most RPG games aren't creative in mini-games, these days it's either cards, board like games or fishing.

Yeah they do seem to be carbon copies it feels like. I don't mind fishing or cards, but there's other games that could be implemented. Rhythm games or cooking mini games are just two that I can name off the top of my head.

I haven't played FF 7 remake yet, but I think I heard they got a ton of new mini games in it.

Oh that's pretty cool! I played it a little bit, but to be honest I'm not really happy with the changes done to the storyline.
