A newer JRPG set in the old ways of gaming. Anyone here play this?

I need to actually finish this game someday lol. I have a physical copy for the Switch, I got it the year it came out and played it a bit. I want to play through it and get the sequel at some point.

I heard the second game was best, so I picked that one up. I don't have much time, so I'm just going for the best these days.

The first game definitely gives me SNES era Final fantasy vibes which is what they were going for. I'm sure the sequel is similar, I really need to find the time to play these RPGs lol.

I feel you, so much to play and so little time to do so. More and more are coming out to play.

The HD-2D approach and combat in this game is similar to the olden-day JRPGs. I liked the eight-character stories and it's really worth it.

It is like the best way to upgrade a old 2D game without giving it a full 3D remake.
