Have you ever considered making your own Role Playing Game?

I've decided after reviewing a few role playing games, that nothing is scratching my itch. So I'm creating my own game. A totally unhinged game filled with stupid comedy and anime awesomeness.

Nothing big, but might run my own DnD game here soon if that counts. Otherwise, I wouldn't know what to make up to entertain other game players.

I'm not too creative so I don't think I'd be able to make my own game lol. Or at least from scratch, I would maybe make a DnD game based around either Sonic or Teen Titans.

I think a sonic one would be rather cool.

My question is, why would it have to be D&D centered? The second question I have to ask is, what's the goal of the game? Like what would the character's do, for what reason?

All I know about Sonic is that he's a hedgehog that's super-fast, and collects lots of coin. And I'm afraid I know even less about Teen Titans. (And I call myself an anime fan! HA! lol)

I'm more familiar with Dungeons and Dragons lol. Also there's lots of different characters that appear in the Sonic universe likewise with Teen titans I could go with a comic book roster. Heck even the 03 animated series has a bunch of different characters lol. Sonic has games, comic books, movies, and shows. There's lots of lore that could fit a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. There's already a RPG for the DS, though it's one of the weaker games in the series. (Then again Sonic is a platformer at it's core but there's been a few different spin off titles too like racing games and even a fighting game lol.)
