The classic RPG Tales of Eternia (AKA Tales of Destiny II) is getting a remaster and it comes out later this year. I never played the original before but it would be cool to play it before the remaster comes out. Will you be getting this remaster when it comes out? Did you enjoy the original?

I'd probably buy it and finally finish it, but if I remember, it was kind of mediocre. It didn't really have a memorable cast or story

Playing it now. My only real complaint is that the controls for walking feel weird. Walking diagonally has a very narrow window. Def using the D-pad. I’m also gonna check the PS1 and PSP versions if this is a thing and I misremembered.
Also, fuck Reddit’s nostalgia for the original voices. Like most PS1 games, they sound like they picked random people in the Namco studio to voice the characters. Them hiring actual actors this time is a godsend
