I'll make a point to play them soon, I'm starting to get an itch to play a game that doesn't require to capture so many pokemon.Ravenfreak wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 9:24 pmThe oldschool games really are so much better than the newer ones. I still need to play Legends Z-A and Legends Arceus was awesome but the main line games were mid. There's just something about the old games though, when Game Freak too the time to work on them and make them fun. I know they're broken but they're still fun and you have to go out of your way to really encounter glitches in Gen 2, and even Gen 1. If you do play it again, let us know about it in the thread since I'd love to hear your progress in the games!Demonskeith wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 11:57 pm I need to jump back into the classic pokemon games again, specially the rom ones. The old games had so much love to them.![]()

Pokemon turns 30 years old this month! I can't wait to see what Nintendo will announce for the future of the franchise. But it's crazy to think the Gen 1 games came out almost 30 years ago in Japan. Red and Green are what started it all, without these games there wouldn't be a franchise!

30 years, nothing like making me feel really old with one number.

I know right? It definitely makes me feel old. I'm happy I got to experience the Pokemon craze when it was brand new. I remember news outlets saying Pokemon was just going to be a phase.
Also I need to get back to working on my Gen 1 hack!
