That’s awesome, congrats on your longest stream! Getting stuck is part of the fun though lol. I checked it out. You did a great job!

Re: A like/reaction system and trophies
I think it be a really nice addition to the site :)
Yeah true, it would make the forum more fun. I have a reaction system on my forms and I think it's a way to boost community engagement. There is something I still don't understand about the ranking system.

Re: Dungeon Explorer Sega CD
True, it definitely looks dated but that is the charm actually makes retro games so nice. The music really helps carry it too.

Capcom really nailed it. I still remembered and sang some of those tracks out of nowhere. They just had a way of making their music stick with you.Ravenfreak wrote: Mon Sep 22, 2025 8:51 pm Gotta love Capcom, they've got killer soundtracks for their games and I think they really shined on the Super Nintendo and PS1!

Re: Super Mario RPG
Yeah, I looked that up as well. It was a pain in the butt in the old days.
I can imagine lol, back when it first came out I think there were only a few gaming websites. I think GameFAQs existed, but I don't think there was a guide right away. Strategy guides existed but they were expensive ...

Re: How do you grind?
I didn't mind the grind back during the day for PS1 and older rpgs, since I had lots of time to put towards grinding.
It's same here, back in those PS1 days I had all the time in the world. Now I try to mix things because of life responsibilities, but honestly, those long grind sessions back ...

Re: Digimon World 3
This thread is really making me want to play it again. I know I was in the middle of a rookie only challenge last year but I stopped working on it lol. I was using the maniac pack too which made it pretty challenging.
I know that feeling too. I started a challenge run once and never finished it ...

Re: Breath of Fire
Music was pretty good in the game as well, battle theme didn't make it bad to go into battle constantly.
Yeah, you are right with the battle theme. It sticks in your head all through. I remembered how I let the fights drag a little longer just because I want to feel the music more. It’s really ...

Re: Super Mario RPG
I made some more progress in Super Mario RPG, since my wife is doing okay. I got my butt kicked a few times but I finally truly have that fifth star piece now! I did have some technical difficulties at the beginning of the stream, I didn't realize my mic was disabled in OBS until someone in my ...
