Re: SHIFT

What's really cool about this game is that you can make a World Spark. You can rename, add or even subtract the Core Traits from the game! So, like I could just rename Body to Strength, Mind to Focus, and Soul to Charisma, and add a fourth Trait named... Wealth (say the game has a spending ...

Re: Pokemon Legends Z-A

Yeah it'll definitely be better, but since he gave me a copy there's no use in waiting now lol. He's got a Switch 2 and that version as well, he said the graphics are a bit better but the gameplay isn't affected too much.

Yeah true, no need to wait if you’ve got the copy already 😂. Honestly, I ...

Re: Minecraft

Minecraft is a guilty pleasure that we all keep going back to.

True talk! Minecraft just gets you hooked no matter how long you’ve left it 😅. You tell yourself you’ll play for 10 minutes, next thing 3 hours has disappeared. I remember the time I built a small village, only for Creepers to ...

Re: How do you go about designing dungeons for tabletop roleplaying games?

Honestly I never really made dungeons for my tabletop game sessions. We just kind of imagined walking around a grassy field and encountering hordes in our journeys. So really we just make things up on the spot lol.

I like that imagination part you mentioned. That’s actually the fun of it ...

Re: How do you play a role-playing game?

For table top games I usually don't go too far out there when I play. I like to stick to a certain goal, and try not to get off the path lol.

I totally get you. I’m like that too sometimes, once I pick a goal, I just focus on it till I finish. I don't need to need to overcomplicate things 😂. I ...

Re: SHIFT

SHIFT sounds clever, I like the Mind, Body, Soul idea. It’s simple but deep, and makes you think about the character instead of just numbers. That dice combo thing too sounds fun and different. To be fair, I love when small indie devs experiment with things like that.

Re: Cypher System

Cypher System sounds like one of those gems you discover by chance and end up loving. I like that it’s not too rigid. You can twist it into any kind of story you want. That flexibility makes it fun, especially when you want something fresh.

Re: Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Cloudy Mountain

That’s proper old-school vibes there. 😂 The graphics were like dots and lines, but somehow it worked. I watched gameplay once and was surprised how much tension it carried despite looking so basic. It’s crazy how those early devs made those games with almost nothing.

Happy birthday to Senkusha! I hope she really enjoyed herself. Milestone birthdays deserve some nice treat, laughter, and a bit of self-love at least.

Yes, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is gaining serious attention. The visuals are mad, and the combat looks very clean too. But games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Final Fantasy XIV still hold their place in RPGs.
