Yeah it might be worth watching gameplay just for the story since this wasn't well received. Though you might like it if you give it a chance, I played a little bit of Landstalker before but didn't get too far.Demonskeith wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2026 6:56 am Really has that old school feel to it, think I'll skim the playthrough for the story.

Re: Ever done a solo run?
Yep I've done a solo run in Pokemon Red! It's much easier to do solo runs in Pokemon games since you can find gameshark codes or modify the rom to change the starter you pick. I've done a solo challenge with just a Machop. I did this on real hardware, on my Super Gameboy though it was done using ...

Re: Dicing Knight
Looks fun for a homebrew game, there should be more game contest releases like this.
I agree, I'm sure there's probably a community out there who makes homebrew for The Wonderswan color. Now I need to go down a rabbit hole and see if I can find one lol. I'll do that this weekend, I still have to ...

Re: RPG maker
Kind of surprised they keep releasing more RPG maker games.
It’s pretty popular for amateur game developers. The problem is that because it’s so easy to make a basic bitch game with it, it gives the software a bad rep. People LOATH RPG Maker games.
Yeah that's the problem with these easy ...

Re: RPG maker

Same here, it makes me wonder just how many indie games were made with RPG maker. On Itch.io they have over 10,000 games listed under "Top games made with RPG maker". I'm sure there's more than that though since the engine is old ...

Dicing Knight
This is a interesting RPG for the Bandai Wonderswan Color that was released in 2003. It's also one of the few games that are in English so you could emulate this game and not have to worry about finding an English translation patch for it! Anyways in this game is actually a homebrew game that won a ...

Was this the version released on Virtual console? What other problems did it introduce?Grungie wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2026 8:55 pmThe 25th anniversary version exists that does that, but it also introduces other problems.Demonskeith wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2026 5:39 pm Sounds like we needed a modded version that fixes encounter rates.

Re: Earthbound Beginnings
I haven't played it much, but that sounds annoying AF. I wonder if that's why they changed how encounters work in the sequel.Grungie wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2026 3:23 am The game’s fun, but the encounter rate can get obnoxious at times. You can get attacked within 2 tiles from your previous encounter. I wish I was being hyperbolic.

Re: Raid Shadow Legends
Give into the temptation lol. Where are you earning money from?
An app called Free Cash. I've been playing random puzzle games. I can't cash out until I reach $25 but I'm getting there. I might give in a play this lol.
Not to go off topic, how hard/long it takes to get money made on ...
