Pokemon Legends Z-A
The game has been out for a little bit now, so I figured I would make a topic here. I just got a copy of the Switch 1 version of the game from my friend, but I don't plan on playing it until this weekend. I am looking forward to dusting off my Switch and playing it though. I was originally going to ...

Re: What is the most popular RPG right now?
I would also like to bring up that Legends Z-A just came out so I'm assuming lots of people are playing this game too. (I haven't got it yet. My friend has a extra copy that he's going to sell to me.)

Champions of Krynn
This game was released on multiple platforms but the footage I'm showing in the thread is from the Amiga which is a 16 bit computer so that's why this thread is here. This is a interesting looking game. It came out the year I was born too lol. It's a tactical RPG so if you like them you'd probably ...

Re: Lost to a boss
For me it depends on how many times I've been knocked out. Sometimes I get super determined so I keep going back over and over again, other times I'll take a break and come back later.

Re: Alcazar: The Forgotten Fortress
So it came out before Zelda? Huh, I wonder if it inspired them at all?
Perhaps but the ColecoVision didn't come out in Japan. Still someone from Nintendo could have seen gameplay of it! Fun fact about the ColecoVision, it uses the same processor as the Master System and has the same sound chip ...

Well last night's stream was a bust. No one watched, and I got knocked out five times. I did like the reference to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers though! I hope I get a better turn out next weekend. I still didn't get the next star piece but I am close! Here's the live stream:

Alcazar: The Forgotten Fortress
This is technically an action adventure game, similar to The Legend of Zelda but since we have topics about The Legend of Zelda this should fit here as well! This game even pre dates TLoZ too! For a Colecovision game the graphics look fantastic!

Yeah but at least there's still people making games for older hardware.

Re: What's your favorite way to develop complex characters in RPGs?
I'll admit this is one of my weaknesses. I can come up with a character, figure out what their abilities are but when it comes to a back story I tend to have issues.

Re: Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Treasure of Tarmin
I know right? It's amazing to see the hard work put into games like this! That's why I also prefer rom hacks to fan games, it's cool to see what people are capable of pulling off on weaker hardware.
